Our latest Det Sync Radio comes from Man2.0.
In 1994 the explosion in Britpop and Grunge inspired him to pick up a guitar and attach himself to some of the worst bands in West London, with welding equipment, in some cases.
As time went on, artists like the Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk began to inspire him to seek out more and more electronic music. Now working in record shops as a vinyl buyer, his vinyl sections would never make money but would always have some of the most diverse, house, techno, breakbeat and EBM…As well as a copy of Carpenters Gold which he couldn’t sell so would eventually buy himself.
He began to embrace London’s then bustling nightclub scene being a regular punter at Fabric, Turnmills and the End standing at the booth, eyes like saucers, while the likes of Craig Richards, James Lavelle, Laurent Garnier, Justin Robertson and Darren Emerson destroyed dance floors.
In recent years Mark turned to production himself and after getting some attention from the Ransom Note and 44100kz Social Club via Soundcloud under his Manmachine201 moniker, had a number of Tracks picked up by Tronik Youth’s Post Techno label Nein, which has become the spiritual home of MAN2.0.
With releases or remixes due on Nein, Flight Recorder, Det Sync, Regith as well as Jo Howard’s new imprint Sulk Magic and forthcoming DJ gigs from Nottingham to Berlin, it’s a busy time for a man who has recently just had a second child. Good job he thrives on a bit of chaos really.

Our latest Det Sync Radio comes from Geushky legend Ian Void.
IOW born, Ian Void is DJ and Producer that has been involved in the UK techno scene for over 20 years. As the promoter of one of the UK’s Finest Underground techno nights of the nineties and early noughties, Geushky. Ian’s productions earned him acclaim in the late nineties, with a style that was aimed directly at the tougher end of the techno spectrum, His DJ sets have always been hi-octane, encompassing many genres that can sustain a direct but diverse approach sometimes surprising crowds with breakbeats, vocals and rave anthems whist maintaining that techno groove.
Ian ran the hugely successful underground Techno club ‘Geushky’ from the early 90’s until 2003 which was based in his home town of Portsmouth & headed up the labels ‘Geushky Recordings’ and later, ‘Intravenous Cuts’. He has played in over 30 countries, remixed some infamous artists and has tracks that have appeared on compilations from Carl Cox and Mauro Picotto to name just two.
Ian launched Intravenous Cuts in 2006, showcasing a continuation of the hard dance floor sound that he had maintained throughout. These quality productions that rolled out of the studio were snapped up by labels including A.Pauls Naked Lunch (Portugal), Vortechtrals Techment Records (UK), Primate Recordings and Primate Endangered Species (UK) including a massive Remix for Deckmonsters (Christian Fischer and DJ Murphy). Alongside the releases on Intravenous Cuts which saw massive support worldwide.
Ian can sculpt DJ sets that traverse across multiple genres without having to categorise as House or Techno or whatever. This approach allows him to be evermore expressive with ever changing tastes and the continually evolving world of electronic music with a keen eye firmly focused on the dancefloor. Techno roots are evident as this is still the force that drives it but expect, House, Electro, Breaks, Electronica, Old Skool & More.
The relaunch of Geushky Reccordings schedule in the summer of 2017 will see Ian return to direct techno with a schedule of releases to come.
