The Wooden Step Sequencer

Step sequencers are ever popular in the electronic music world, not least with the recent resurgence of modular synth systems. Providing the user with a way to interact with their sound away from a traditional keyboard, they can be found in some form in everything from the classic 808 and 909 drum machines to modern software like Ableton Live and Reason. Step forward three students at Poland’s “School of Form”, who have certainly brought the concept out of the box.┬áErnest Warzocha, Jakub Wilczewski and Maciej ┼╗elaznowski say in their own words that they wanted the “Wooden Sequencer to work in more natural way by using familiarity of real objects and manipulating them”, check out the video to see more.
